Speaker bio:  Oliver R. Zakrzewski is the Operations Section Chief of the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness for the City of New Orleans, Louisiana (NOHSEP). NOHSEP is the coordination public safety agency for the City of New Orleans, responsible for administering the City’s crisis and consequence management program. It coordinates the City’s preparedness for, response to, recovery from, and mitigation against crises, both natural and man-made, through “all-hazards” planning. Oliver has worked for the City of New Orleans for over 15 years, first with operations and emergency management at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, and for the last 6 years in NOHSEP.

Summary of presentation:  Oliver will review RUN, HIDE, FIGHT, and police response to active shooters.
